  • The Forest of Pefkias

    You won’t have to travel to discover the forest of Pefkias as you are already here. Home to more than 80 flowers and tree kinds, this is a lovely spot to take long strolls surrounded by nature all year long. Pines and other trees are offering its shadow and create a romantic and beautiful atmosphere as spring turns to summer and autumn to winter. If you love running then you will enjoy every breathe and step you take into the forest of Pefkias.

  • The beach

    In front of the hotel, just 40 m., is the beautiful beach of Xylokastro where you will enjoy swimming and the sun, from late spring to early autumn. The beach has crystal clear waters and the trees from Pefkias are reaching to the shore creating a magical landscape which is also beautiful for all year long strolls. Keep in mind that the coast line of north Peloponnese is full of gorgeous beaches with facilities and corners that have something for all. From vibrant beach bars, to peaceful beaches there are many sea stops where the people of Gardens Gallery Hotel will be glad to guide you to.

  • Take a bicycle

    The best way to discover the attractiveness of Xylokastro town or the forest of Pefkias is by just riding on a free bicycle and starting a long ride in the city, the forest Pefkias and the surrounding areas.

  • Visit the villages of Trikala Corinthias

    This is a must do excursion. After a 20 minutes’ drive up to the mountain you will find Kato, Mesaia and Ano Trikala Corinthias villages. Make as many stops as you like to enjoy the view to the sea and inhale the aromas of the nature. In these three villages, you will find cafes and restaurants to enjoy your meal or a cup of coffee with magnificent views!

  • Visit the city of Corinth

    Close to Xylokastro, you will find the city of Corinth for shopping and museum visits whereas you can also make a stop to the town of Loutraki and the Canal of Corinth. It will take you approximately a 20 minutes drive to reach these attractions.

  • Visit Ancient Corinth

    With a rich history dating back to 5000B.C., ancient Corinth was among the richest and most important ancient states in Greece. Nowadays, the visitors will admire the ruins of ancient temples, like the one dedicated to Apollo, and most of all reach up to Akrocorinth to admire the views.   • Explore the mountain Ziria

    After a beautiful drive through nature, you will be in the heart of Mount Ziria. Lakes, slopes with pine trees, beautiful landscapes to hike or even do horseback riding in the nature. This is a must do excursion that we will be delighted to suggest some routes for and share the secrets to discover the hidden beauties of Ziria Mountain.  Tip: If you are visiting at winter time, you can go skiing at this mountain

    Yet another beautiful excursion is at the village of Gouras and the lake Doxa. You will also find more villages and you will have the chance to admire another option of the mountains in the area.   • The Monasteries of Corinth

    There are some truly unique monasteries in the area of Corinth that you can visit during your excursions, or head straight to if you are a religious travellers. Do not miss the Monastery of Agios Vlassios in Ano Trikala Corinthias or the Monastery at the Chiliomodi. Close to the Gardens Gallery Hotel is the historic Monastery of Prophet Ilias with the interesting architecture and the Monastery of Lechova, both worth visiting

  • Discover the Nemea Wineries

    The wine made in Corinth, especially in the region of Nemea, is known since antiquity. Today, modern wineries are open to public to show the history and taste the wines of the area. Unique flavours and aromas are bottled for centuries in Nemea and await to be uncorked by travellers who wish to enjoy the real taste of the region

  • Let’s go to Nafplio and Mycenae

    It might take you an hour, but here, you will be in the centre of modern as well as ancient Greece. Visit the lovely town of Nafplio, the modern Greece’s state capital, and enjoy strolls in the romantic alleys as you are admiring the architecture. Then step up to the city’s castle to admire the view. Close to Nafplio are also the ancient theatre of Epidavros and the important city of Mycenae.
